It’s a topical book, of course, but not in the way you might think it would be. It’s utterly unpredictable in its twists and turns, but never implausible. Populated by a host of convincing and engaging characters, Green’s world, set around ten years from now but entirely recognisable, draws the reader in and tosses them back and forth in a maelstrom of intrigue, conspiracy and murder.
